Nuisance smokers - step #6

Forward your documented case to all the MPs in your State or Territory

Once you have compiled a report that documents the extent and negative impact of the passive smoking in your household, use that information to compose a letter of your findings to your State MPs. The thing is the States and Territories often have more power and influence to change laws that affect you, and their changes may be implemented sooner than Federal laws.

Visit the appropriate page above and contact the Minister with your concerns. If your case is serious enough and you are able to demonstrate that actual harm has been inflicted then you may also like to send your case to Ministers from other regions and ask them for their support. Please let us know which Ministers respond positively to you so that we can promote them on this site.
